<div dir="ltr">The seal is applies by the pit steward each time you fueled the car so that you cannot add any fuel anywhere else but in the pits. The did the same thing at Sebring in 1963 (and probably before) but then in 1965 that regulation was not applied nor afterwards. A Standard- Triumph promo video of the 3 car Triumph TR4 effort in the 1961 LeMans race. Driver change is quick, no belts required but they do put a seal on the gas cap to make sure no one is adding anything to the tank, somewhere on the track, outside of the approved fuel.</font><br>
