There have been multiple production runs of these, most of them made in China with dubious quality and poor materials. At one point these production runs were then divided between TRF; Moss and VB. Earlier on many of us experienced the absolute crap reproductions of the synchros used in TR-2thru TR-6. These were off dimensionally and after doing a Rockwell test I found they were of poor quality soft brass. These would fail within hours of initial use. Sadly as time goes on there are more and more parts being dumped on the market from “off shore” sources being sold by the Big Three.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D"><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D">Maybe if we communicate widely what parts are crap, we can discourage the venders from selling such junk.
