<div dir="ltr"><div>They do have a few things wrong. The cars were all fitted with torque rods for the race and the fuel tanks were 31.7 gallon no 26. I think the fellow was well prepared to not like the car. Test in lap time on a race track and there would be no comparison at all with the stocker. By the way the rear springs were stock and the front just the regular competition springs from the factory, not special beefy parts to cope with the very rough track at Sebring.. Comparing with a Lotus 19 seems a little silly.</div><div><br></div><div> The regulations were pretty specific about what could be altered in the interior of the car (nothing to speak of) as we had to make up floor mats our of roofing paper to satisfy the tech personal. Oh well, they won anyway and beat a whole lot of cars that could not cut the hard rough drive on 12 hours at Sebring..</div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br clear="all"><div><div class="gmail_signature"><p><strong><font color="#000099">Never be beaten by equipment.</font></strong></p></div></div>
