to prep the uprights to accept Datsun stub axles and (I think) TR6 halfshafts -

12.0pt'>My car came to me with the uprights modified to accept larger (unknown
origin) bearings and Corvair stub axles, with the Corvair wheel flange turned
down and re-drilled for the Triumph bolt pattern, and Spicer halfshafts.
They've been trouble-free for me; I'm about to pull them apart for
servicing and probably have a duplicate set of uprights made up so they'll be
interchangeable with what's on my car. I believe Lotus Europa owners also
swapped out for the corvair stub axles at the time. This was the solution
"back in the day". Any good driveshaft shop can make up the
halfshafts.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
