<html><head><style type='text/css'>p { margin: 0; }</style></head><body><div style='font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000'><P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">Thank you very much for the nomination and seconds, guys.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>As Tom mentioned I have been helping get Triumphs on track for a couple of years now by working with Jason Ostrowski’s Friendly Ghost Racing.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Jason and I race together here in the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on">Midwest</st1:place> with Midwestern Council and VSCDA.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I have raced a variety of vehicles over the years but currently own a 67 Barracuda fastback that I built and race in Group 6 and also race a 65 Cheetah Roadster (for those at Road America a few weeks ago I was the blue roadster #6 paddocked just down the way from the FOT camp).<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I trailered Jason’s yellow GT6 to the Mitty last year at Road Atlanta and proudly served at crew chief for FGR that weekend.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>That was my first experience with FOT and I had a blast.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>We shared my canopy with the Alexander clan and had a great time hanging out with them that weekend (I wrote an article about the experience for our club newsletter: <A href="http://www.nsscc.org/files/rod_knock/RK2012Jun.pdf"><FONT color=#0000ff>http://www.nsscc.org/files/rod_knock/RK2012Jun.pdf</FONT></A>) <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN><SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I have always been a guy that will try to do whatever I can to help a fellow racer get to the track or get back on track if they have an issue.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Whether it be parts or an extra set of hands, I have been the guy in need too many times to not offer help to another racer when the tables are turned.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>FOT more so than any other group of racers that I have been around perpetuates this same spirit and that was what drew me in.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">As far as Triumphs go, in addition to designing and fabricating some parts for Jason’s yellow GT6, I helped get John Reed’s green GT6 back on track earlier this year after Jason bought it .<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Unfortunately I also had to load it into my trailer after the second broken suspension episode of the weekend converted it to a three wheeler at Road <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">America</st1:place></st1:country-region>.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I will also be helping Jason and his dad with their Ambro project in the near future.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Finally, though I didn’t know his name until afterwards nor he mine, I was happy to be able to lead Peter on a very entertaining scavenger hunt through <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Sheboygan County</st1:City>, <st1:State w:st="on">WI</st1:State></st1:place> looking for the parts that got his TR8 back on track the next day at the ELVF.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>It was great to watch him and Chris to impressively flog that awesome car around the track.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Though I need another race car like I need another hole in my head, my experience with Friendly Ghost Racing and Friends of Triumph has really made me want a Triumph project.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>We have a bare GT6 chassis that I hope to find a Vitesse body for (I know – good luck with that).<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I saw the Carl Swanson car at Road <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">America</st1:place></st1:country-region> a few years ago and fell in love with it.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>We have a lot of uppity Alpha and Datsun guys here in the <st1:place w:st="on">Midwest</st1:place> – I would love nothing more than to beat up on them in 2.5 Trans Am / B Sedan competition in a Triumph.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>In the meantime, I look forward to helping Jason with the prep and development of his vehicles and know that my inclusion on this list will help to that end.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I feel privileged to be a part of FOT and look forward to meeting more of you at and on the track in the future.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Thank you again.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
