There just isn't enough differential speed between these cars, especially in that corner, for that argument to hold water. My hero Kimi squeezed Hamilton off the corner--very clear in the video. That's OK, nice tactical move. Hamilton lifts, Kimi goes by, then Hamilton crosses behind him (no inertia remaining there) and passes on the other side. <div><br></div><div>There isn't a racing organization in existence that would consistently call that an illegal pass--especially the FIA. It's one of those decisions where the stewards insert their authority into the results.
