<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;"><DIV>Jim: Are the advance numbers you are speaking of in addition to the static advance you already have in the motor? If so, the two will add up, and that 33 degree number would scare me. If your static timing is 12 degrees BTDC and you add 33 degrees you are in a land few ever venture with TR motors. I don't like more then 30-32 degrees total advance in any TRactor motor. MG's can handle more, but not TR's. </DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I don't think my system is the same as yours because it advances 1 deg for each 100 rpm it ramps up from 19 deg advanced to 30 deg advance up to 3000 rpm from there it runs up to 35deg total advance. I would not change the jetting if the only thing you changed is the dist. I would try try reduceing the 27deg mark to around 22 -23 and let the full advance come in around 2800rpm. Do you know the curve of the old dist?</FONT></DIV>
