[Fot] How many times can you line bore a block?

Yes, that is my understanding too. But according to my machine shop they do end up taking a couple of thousandths off the top of the journal. A couple of thou is within tolerance, but now we’re talking four thou or so, having to do it twice.  Getting a bit out of line….
They did say that if I had a bell housing that would unbolt from the gearbox they could “dial it in” with offset dowel pins….
But alas I don’t have such a bell housing kicking around.
