Hi,

The steering shaft on the TR6 is 9/16" - 36 spline.

Most of the adapters for quick release are for 3/4" shafts

I'm pretty sure that Grant used to offer adapters for British cars, but the last few times I looked the parts are not listed. I don't recall a quick release adapter from when I used to install Grant steering wheels on a few cars back in the '90s. Maybe if you find an abandoned project with a Grant wheel you could do something, but Grant used a different bolt pattern for the spokes than most of the others like Moto-Lita etc.

Really the only way to get what the query seems to want is to install a 3/4 upper shaft with the quick release and then adapt to the 9/16-36. You would have to re-bush the stock steering column for the larger shaft and you would loose turns signal cancel and the steering shaft lock if this is a street car.

This is why most race cars switch to the larger shafts, but you probably already know that.
