Just a reminder of the upcoming Triumph/MG challenge coming up in July at PittRace. Original post is below. It is generating a lot of interest and should be a blast for both competitors and spectators. We were able to procure 9 of the 10 reserved RV electric spots in the South paddock for us Triumph racers. Most are claimed already but if you are bringing a MH and would like one reserved for you, please email me direct at trmarty at hotmail.com. I will start a waiting list after it is full in case somebody cannot make it.
Thanks,
Marty Sukey

Subject: PVGP Triumph/MG Challenge
Fellow racers and fans, we know the big TR event for 2025 is the Kastner Cup at Lime Rock in August; but to add to your racing pleasure, the first ever PVGP Triumph/MG Challenge has just been formally announced. The link for the event is below with all the
details.
Triumph - MG Challenge | PVGP<https://pvgp.org/triumph-mg-challenge/>
The cliff note version is as follows: July 11 through the 13th at Pittsburgh International Raceway (PittRace), Team Triumph will be taking on Team MG for the soon to be infamous PVGP Triumph MG trophy. For no additional entry fee, you will get to run one Triumph/MG challenge race on Saturday and a second one on Sunday. Saturday will be a Team Triumph vs Team MG race with the winning team being awarded the trophy based on each team's racers finishing position. This is not just the fastest car in the marquee winning, this is a TEAM challenge. Sunday will be a king of the hill race with the fastest Triumph or MG taking the honors. This will be in ADDITION to all the regular PVGP sessions for your normal run groups.
Unbeatable track time! If you have never raced PittRace, it is a fantastic track. 2.8 miles, 19 corners, 3 long straights and 101 feet of elevation changes. If that's not enough, how about an all-paved paddock, and the icing on the cake: AIR-CONDITIONED BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS. Where else can you find that?
Take the time to read the announcement, there is some pretty special stuff going on for both the racers and the Triumph/MG spectators. Put it on your schedule, you will have a blast! Let's show those lowly MG’s how fast real British cars are!
