It’s a LeGrand Mk 16, built from a kit by Jon Reski in Canada for a Canadian series. semi-monocoque chassis (square tube frame with riveted aluminum stressed skin) with rear round tube sub-frame. Built 1972, 2 liter ford (Pinto) engine, Hewland box, wishbone suspension all around with coil-overs. 1300 lb. Been sitting for 15 years, I’m going though everything, but no sign of accidents, solid, simple car.
Photo in blue was back in the day, black is current. Will return to blue!
Always wanted to try something like this - we’ll see if I like the car and the run group when done, hopefully 2025.
