Racers who have never experienced the Lime Rock Historic Festival may
not realize just how close Skip Barber is to the event. Skip is heavily
involved, and most, if not all of the communications about the event
come directly from him. All the drivers of this year's festival just
received this Thank You note from Skip, and he is getting the word out
for next year's event. Take a minute and read it, of course we are
mentioned! 

Planning is already taking shape, I am confident I will have some
exciting announcements soon on a number of fronts.  

The Lime Rock Historic Festival will be our chance to put on our show
under a rather big spotlight, many consider the event to be the Monterey
of the East. An added bonus is folks that have not run Lime Rock will
get to tick off another track from their bucket list.

Dear Historic Festival Competitor, 

I want to start by thanking you for participating in the 42nd running of
the Lime Rock Park Historic Festival. I think it was a really good
event. We got lucky with the weather, had some good racing and wonderful
cars in the paddock. Thank you, Ross Myers for the 3 Dog Garage display.


The weekend started with the Vintage Car Parade to Falls Village,
forty-three of you participated in the 125-car field, for which there
were over 300 entries. 

Thank-you Peter Cunningham, Bruce MacInnes, Dorsey Schroeder, and
moderator Greg Rickes for the Friday night panel - back to what it used
to be, and nobody left early. 

Happy fans all four days. 

Next year:          

We have the Kastner Cup, all about Triumphs, coming for the first time;
the Formula Junior Group has committed to a strong field, and I think
we've got World Challenge off to a good start, at least a dozen cars who
weren't here this year have said they're coming.
