Subject: [Fot] Friendly Ghost Racing Triumph GT6+ Blackhawk Farms In Car While the racing world prepares itself for a glimpse into the deep pockets of F1 at Monaco and the glory of the Indy 500, take a few minutes here to enjoy the hot seat of a common man.We don’t get too many chances to see in car from the GT6 guys... Brendan Alexander was kind enough to capture this group 8 race footage of me on an angry drive at Blackhawk Farms last summer. The video is neat because it shows off the cars strength and weakness. I have grown to be proud of the car’s ability to race with and ultimately devour cars that are much faster. It is a period correct car that drips its own race history; shipped directly from the factory in 1969 and built for SCCA competition. Qualified for the run offs and raced at Daytona in 1969 and had solid runs at Road Atlanta in 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1974. It remains as such and races currently in its original production specs--Stock CD 150 Stromberg carbs with original intake manifold.-Stock rods and crank-Original Delco distributor with points and condenser -No alternator, no fanWhat this GT6 lacks in straight line speed can often be overcome because it will let you take it anywhere you’d like to go.
The footage also highlights the Hard work and engineering brilliance of two modern GT6 masterminds. Behold me being passed by Alex Amys (white) and Daniel Gehweiler (red). These two gentlemen have taken the more modern triple Weber platform to previously unmatched levels of GT6 excellence. Just listen to song of their exhaust note playing through custom headers…as they walk by effortlessly; it is something like the sound of a car breathing in shots of Everclear while passing an older fellow’s car sipping Mull Wine.
