[Fot] TR6 Pedal Set? - Wilwood / Tlton for racing

Hi Mark,
I had a brief stint with a wilwood clutch pedal in my 4 this year, and quickly learned that the shape of the firewall makes all the angles of the typical standard pedal setups all sorts of messed up.  I couldn’t get the throw the wilwood pedal was meant for.  It’s a double whammy with the upper part of the firewall angled one way, and the lower angled the other way, with neither vertical, which is what the generic solutions are designed for.   I’d point you at the good parts Tilton setup for the TR6 pedal box, if your cage allows… (mine does not, so installing a Racetorations setup for the TR4 pedal box….)

I hope that helps - I think extensive firewall work would be needed, or legs that are a lot shorter!

Has anyone replaced the stock pedal box, including gas pedal, with a Wilwood or Tilton set?  Would live to see pics as well as what 

  

Existing clutch/brake pedal are not stock and has a balance bar.  Stock gas pedal is loose and no spring – has been modified to pull the throttle cable from inside the footwell (rather than outside the firewall).  Was thinking rather than just replace the bushings/spring, “while there”, might go toward a more robust pedal set.
