Thank you for the responses!!! I'd never used this method of synchronization before, only the Unisyn. I may give it a shot as there is no swapping back and forth to get it done.
It's been a long time since I've balanced the carbs. They are due for some work as they are relocating (with my wife, myself, our TR3 and TR8) from 400 feet to 6,600 feet in the next month or so, as we are relocating from Seattle-ish, WA to Park City-ish, Utah.

Subject: Odd tool in a pouch
I was going through some tools in my shop and came across a small pouch with an odd collection of pipes and pins, but I have no idea what it is for. The pipes are about 5 inches in length. One picture in the pouch and one fully laid out. Yes, the tubes do assemble.
Does anyone recognize this tool?
