I seem to recall that an off the shelf Dorman stud for something like 
'75 - '77 Mercury Capri is almost an exact replacement for Spit/GT6 
wheel studs.  I may have the information out in the garage somewhere.  I 
recall I had to use the lathe to taper the boss on the end.  It has been 
quite some time, my memory isn't as good as it used to be.  I'll try to 
dig out the info in the next day or two.
