[Fot] Road America - Best gear ratio?

 Addendum: 4.10 and o/d and you might be okay. Just checked my calcs on this. But 4.10 and no o/d and you'll redline in a lot of places at RA

Note: my assumptions are with 24 in tall tires on a TR6.
Also, I'm more concerned about chucking a rod or breaking the crank than how well I can pull out of any corner. So under 6k RPM is my rule of thumb.

  Road America is a high-speed track. You won't get under 3:00 with a 4.10. You'll be out of revs half-way down most of the straights. a 3.70 or 3.45 would be better choices. Gear for 115+ on the front straight, the back straight and the Kink to Canada.
