[Fot] Fuel system

When the mechanical pump failed on my Morgan 4/4 (1600 Ford engine) all of my fellow Morgan owners recommended the Facet electric fuel pump.  I had already had my fuel tank completely cleaned and sealed.  One year later, the Facet pump failed.  I couldn't find any dirt or gunk in the fuel lines or filter.  Perhaps this was a random failure, but this time I used a different fuel pump.
That's my experience.

I've been using the Facet cylindrical red top pumps in my TR3 for 20+ years.  I also use a Holley fuel pressure regulator.  When I re-plumped my car, after it sat for 10 years, I used the Summit Racing copper-nickel tubing from the cell (in the boot) up to the engine bay.  Added a Summit fuel filter with replaceable screen.  Braided hose (-6) from the filter to the regulator, then to the carb bowls.  Joe(B)

 Friends

I am ready to install fuel system from cell to engine on my 68 GT6 MK1. I would value any leadership:

What is best- hard line from pump to engine to engine or braided stainless?

Any thoughts on best electric fuel pump?

Thanks!
