Rumor has it they are reinventing the Lake Garnett
Kansas Vintage Races on the track used in the
SCCA races 1959 thru 1972……a regular stop for
the Cobra and Corvette factory teams.
In a YouTube video you can see TR 3’s racing on
the circuit back in the day……
1972 races drew 60,000 spectators.
Food for thought for you heartland racers….

Shannonville in Belleville, Ontario, a stone’s throw off the 401, is a VARAC event and one many of us in the NE used to attend. It now hosts a VARAC regional event. It was the former home of the Vintage racing festival before that moved to Mosport (ehh!) Totally flat.
