The k car uses the Quaife “ Torson” design . It’s average ! But that’s all that was available 20 something years ago when I restored that car.
My preference is a clutch style ( Tran-x/ 3D) . They’re tune able ( break away- the amount of Lbs it takes to loc up) and can buy individual parts should you need them .
