[Fot] Connecting rod question

 Speaking of rods, I have a couple of stock 1296 Spitfire rods, left over from my Spitfire days.  They were magnifluxed.  Does anyone want them for the cost of shipping?  JoeB

 I agree with Brad's recommendation on the Pauter rods. I went with them on my Spit after talking to MGA guys. Their motors have more torque than mine and I didn't come across any reports of rod induced failures.I also never had a properly prepared Triumph rod fail either but how old (and stressed) are the newest Spitfire rods now?

Marty Sukey posted some very nasty pictures of his Carillos and a rod bolt failure…good enough for me.
Not sure how it will apply to TR6 items but worth a look.
