[Fot] Close ratio gears

 WHEN i ORDERED MY FIRST 2 SETS OF CLOSE RATION GEARS FOR MY RACE CAR, IT WAS $800 FOR BOTH SETS (i.e. $400 per set)!

Hewland Mk 9 gears sets cost $325 each at this point, times four or five is not cheap. When a dog box brakes it's 2-4K for repairs and parts. If someone can guarantee an order for say 30 sets I would be glad to do a quote for the TR4/6 close ratio set up, I would also need a good set for engineering purposes.
I guess my point is if guys are whining about paying $85 each for steel synchro's to fix the stock gearbox issues, I think they would come unglued having to pony up for the close ratio gear sets. If there is a stock of these gears sets somewhere please tell me and I will buy them all at the current price. Realistically they should cost 3 times or more than what they sell for today.

Interesting conversation, if the manufacturer of the close ratio gearsets is
truly done and can't be convinced to make more, this could have pretty big
implications to a lot of racers here.

Does anybody know the ratios of the dogbox gearset?
