I love them!  I’m fanatical about shaving ounces and I deem that one worthy.  I stayed turning my own until I ran out of the free billet lol

Message me later and I’ll send you the part number for a rebuild kit, from a tractor. Even has a better impeller if I remember correctly

As I’m prepping parts for an engine re-assembly, hefting the stock cast iron housing, I realized I’ve seen alloy ones for sale.  The stock piece weighs 8 lbs with the water pump attached.  That’s a decent hunk of metal on the forward part of a nose-heavy GT6!  I could probably knock off 4-5 lb.
Has anyone used the alloy ones - do they seem to be dimensionally accurate?  Any failures?
