 Hi,

I read all of the replies so far... if your sanctioning body is very strict on wheel width, there were American Racing Le Mans wheels wheels cast in the 5.5 in width back in the day. They were also cast in 6 inch width as well as 7 in, depending on what they were being used for. For reference, TR6 stock wheel width is 5.5 inches.

It just so happens that I have a set of 7 of those 5.5 in wheels sitting in my attic that others in the household would love to see find a good home. I can get pictures of them, but these appear exactly like the VTO LeMans wheels pictured on the VTO web site - except narrower. The wheels I have would need to be cleaned up (media blasted) and sealed, but they are all in good condition with no curb rash at all. I'm in Massachusetts, but they can be shipped pretty reasonably by the usual carriers. Price is negotiable, but it would score me points if they move to a new home. ;-)

You would have to get the mounting hardware - these wheels use a barrel-style lugnut and washer, but those are easy to get via Summit Racing or other suppliers.

 Hi All,
I am restoring to racing condition a 1959 TR3A which has not seen the track since 1979.
We used to run TR6 wheels back in the day.  Not now however.  Which Brands, Types and Sizes are successfully being used these days?
I will also need tire recommendations.  Brand, Style and Size info would be appreciated.

I am trying to get the car to the Kasner Cup at Sonoma in April next year.
Thanks for the help,
