Amici,

Many of you know of Kas’s sailing history during the 1980’s.

Kas sailed with my Spitfire’s previous owner/builder/driver, Doug Brown.

Joe Alexander owns and restored Kas’s Contender racing sailboat.

Kas and Doug sailed out of the Marina Del Rey Yacht Club in Los Angeles.

The historic clubhouse burned down last night.  Quite a significant cultural loss for the community, a small bit of Kas’s history too.
