[Fot] Ford Truck Axles

The U joints on my Spitfire (#49), now Jim's are Corvette on that setup. Axles were definitely Summers Bros. I did the custom machine work on the trunnions and the flanges in my shop. Used all grade 8 hardware on the assembly. Driveshaft was also custom built and balanced at high speed. Flanges were Corvair and modified by me. All part numbers are available.

On my former Russ Moore Spitfire, I think it has billet steel axles manufactured by Summers Brothers. 

It has some trick universal joints (I think modified Corvair). I have lots of documentation at home. I think Russ was passionate about the final dive.
