[Fot] TR6 starter

 Hi,
I have installed the Pacesetter, TRF Gp 44 and the Goodparts headers - you need to re-clock  the hi-torque starter to fit.
The Gp 44 header is the hardest one to deal with because you can't remove the starter with the header in place. A royal PITA.
Talk to Ted S., he can steer you right.

Are the Group 44 headers Dusty is talking about the same ones you run, the two piece Roadster Factory 6 -->2 -->1 deal? I have two sets on my shelf and was planning to use one of them on the street car build with a gear reduction starter.

Subject: [Fot] TR6 starter

What starter are y’all using on a TR6 with Group 44 style headers? I tried a gear reduction starter years ago that wouldn’t fit with the exhaust so I keep rebuilding the stock starter which just crapped out again. I don’t know what model gear reduction starter I tried, but I can find it if that’s needed info for a recommendation.

Looking for a better option.

Thanks,
