I wouldn't let the word Concours scare you off.  Yes, Friday night is for cars entered in the event and while some are certainly pretty enough to be concours ready plenty of others are unabashedly race cars.  The Baja TR3 would be a great addition.  The way they do it is those entered line up inside the track starting at around 430 on Friday.  Between then and 6:00, a team of judges walk through the lines looking at the cars and asking questions.  I have participated every year for the last 8 or 9 years and have never once stuck around by the car to be 'judged'.  I walk around and talk to the other drivers, look at cars, have a beer, then climb in the car when it's time to go downtown.  Once downtown and parked the place goes up for grabs with thousands of spectators walking among the cars.  Great place to talk to and meet a lot of cool race fans and also people watch others.  The announce the concours winners around 745 and then it's time to climb back in for the drive back to the track. It's only 3 miles between the track and downtown.  The trip to town takes a little longer and there is definitely some stop and go as the cars back up going into town (I believe there is around 125 cars allowed).  The trip back to the track goes a little quicker.  Don't worry about the judges - just come out and enjoy it.  People will love the car. The Saturday night Concours is for street cars and is a little more upper shelf as far as presentation.  Let me know if you have any other questions.
