 Yeah I'm going to agree, out of all of the hundreds of races that I've been to in some capacity or other, Mid-O '92 Vintage pretty much stands at the top of the list, the TR force was STRONG that weekend!!!(It was especially quite an adventure hauling up from south florida in my (still) daily-driver 66SWB Land Rover, 3 days up, 2 1/2 back including rigging-up a split trailer tongue patch)It's good to see that many of us are still around, sad that a few aren't, but that the FOT is very much alive & well, thanks to all who make it all happen!

I was approached to look into this in 1990 and insisted on waiting 2 years to do it around the 40 year comparative. Spent a lot of time going to races to get Racers on board Sue Harsh was a great help  Tom Mahoney and COCTRA came own board and helped with the car show . TRF and Moss were great promoters  Estimates of 5k folks with TR history in the crowwd . Greatest event in history MHO!

Mid-Ohio was the beginning of something BIG for Triumphs.
Tom Householder and some WPTA guys need to get serious creditfor this.
There were several people that attended that influenced themto join the vintage racing scene.
The FOT and the Kastner Cup has built on that event.

I was there as well.  Thatwas when I was still racing my TR-4 in SCCA.  Charles Runyanhad asked me to bring my car over and put it on display at TheRoadster Factory tent.  I think TRF helped sponsor theevent.  I towed my car over with my race van and brought myHarley along in the back of the van.  Once I dropped the racecar off at the TRF tent, I parked my van & trailer and spent therest of the weekend riding around on my Harley.  Greatfun.  Great memories.
