> Well the time has come, Pop’s has hung his helmet up as they say. Since our shop has 2 Triumph race cars, 3 restoration projects and the occasional visiting race car, it is beyond full, so the car will be sold. We talked about the car today and Pops wanted the FOT to have first right of refusal since this group has helped us so much over the years.

> So the partial details, full details upon request:
> 1963 TR4 - race car since the 90’s
> Pops is the second owner since it has been a race car
> Purchased from California in 2009
> Fully ready to race. Last race weekend was Eagle’s Canyon in May where Dad took every lap of every race and drove it on the trailer.
> Engine - 89mm wiseco forged pistons, tapered pins, Eagle SIR rods with Chevy big ends and Clevite bearings. Custom Marine crank with 2 dummy mains and Chevy rod journals. Full race cam (I think this is an Erson, will check notes for cam and compression notes on this motor). Oil cooler, accusump, and aluminum radiator. Standard TR transmission and a soutwhick rear axle with a limited slip diff. Front hubs were also uprated to soutwhich aluminum hubs. Suspension is well sorted.

> Dad has always been a conservative driver and rarely took this motor past 5500 rpm. I’ve driven a couple times and it makes good power. I believe we built this motor about 4 years ago and he did about 3 weekends a year.
>
> Y’all let me know if there is any interest in the car and I’ll get you the “book” and a bunch of photos.
>
> If there is no-one interested here, we will be reaching out to our local race club and then BAT.
>
> Thanks and wishing y’all a happy new year.
