[Fot] Original paint on TR3 rear axle housing

Folks looking for intel on the original paint scheme used on the TR3 axle housing. More curiosity than anything. Currently rebuilding my son’s differential and rear axles and found that the housing center section or pumpkin is painted red, axles tubes and rear cover are black. This is not the first one I’ve rebuilt with this color scheme. Was this original?
