Questions came up on the Covid-19 form. I asked Alex Miller directly if you checked the box about being out of the state of Ohio and the one about being a first responder. If a person were to check yes on those would they be prevented from entering the track and participating. He stated ABSOLUTLY NOT, YOU WILL NOT BE PREVENTED FROM BEING ALLOWED IN!. He stated that was a standard state of Ohio form that the track is just using. If you have any questions on that please contact SVRA directly. I personally am guessing that if Mid-Ohio sees your signature at the bottom of the form and you don't have a temperature that's all the tracks legal counsel will worry about. I have no proof of that, its just my gut feeling.

Paddock spots. This has turned into a real challenge. Paved area small, grass area as much as I want. I am working on some scenarios. Please answer a question for me. If it ends up being a dry weekend, how many of you would positively want to park in the paved paddock as opposed to the grass? Let me know, it would help me plan.

If you go to the SVRA website for the event there are updated provisional schedules listed. There is also a Covid-19 form for the track. It is important that you print this out and fill it in prior to getting to the track to make load in go faster. You and everybody with you will have to hand one of these filled out forms to a track representative in order to enter the track. Speaking of load in. As of today SVRA still hasn't been able to tell me what our paddock space will be but it sounds like load in will start at noon on Wednesday. I would suggest arriving on Wednesday if you can, especially if you have a large rig. It sounds like this is a record turnout event race car wise and I expect the paddock to be a case of way too many cars for the space available. Not good. Also, a friend of a friend sent out this link to an on-line drivers meeting that SVRA has created for the event. You problay want to watch it. I would think they will be sending it out to all the racers but you can see it first here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcLMHh0Erkg
