All things being equal it is important to support our niche suppliers.
BFE, TSI, GoodParts and many others come to mind, as two that I buy from.
I also have to consider Sales Tax in the calculation. Summit has an
operation in Texas so everything I buy from them is taxed 8.25%. My
daughter lives a few miles away from the showroom and I have made multiple
trips to pick up stuff, tax and all. It is a cool place to visit.
I think I have used about 90% of the mentioned suppliers over the years.
and my list is very familiar: I out them in the order of the dollars I
guess I've spent with each.
Speedway Motors
Summit Racing
Jeg's
Pegasus
PitStop USA
We, as a group, are probably not as big a customer base niche for the
Triumph suppliers who focus on street cars but they do carry parts we
need. I used to buy everything I could from the Roadster Factory but my
business with them shrinks unless I am building a car. They are still my
favorite supplier but I have used Moss more lately. I can find some stuff I
can't get elsewhere from Moss UK and do the occasional business with
Racetorations and Cambridge Motorsports.
