Speaking of O2 gauges/sensors. I recently bought an AEM gauge and was
pulling my hair out trying to get it to work. I went to the forums on the
Interweb and found out that the sensors AEM sends out have a high defective
rate. I also learned about the "rag test" If the gauge doesn't work pull
the sensor and wrap the end in a rag soaked with brake cleaner and see if
it reads rich. This test proved my new oxygen sensor was bad. New sensor,
13.7 at idle, fun to watch it go up and down but I still check my tailpipe
for grey residue.
