Charles and I were particularly close in the early 1980s.  He was so “preppy”.  You know...sport coat in the boot because, “you never know!”  I made some catalog recommendations to him, and he put my mentor, Mike Belfer’s, picture on the back of an early one.  Always had warm feelings for Charles and agree he did much for the hobby.
