A friend of mine used to be a weekend crewman for Bud Moore. They got caught with a false floor in the car, with coils of copper tubing between the floors for more gas capacity. Only got caught because the line chafed through and started leaking.
 
It ain't cheatin' if you don't get caught.

So, how cold does the fuel have to be in order to have any significant affect on volume?? I need to make 7.2 gallons of fuel go 75 minutes at Road America this weekend, where I typically burn a bit more than 1 gallon every 10 minutes.? I could soft-pedal it to save some fuel, but there is some quick competition out there.
