I used that flywheel on my own small Journal 1296 with a 1500 clutch. It worked out fine once I chamfered the center hole. I was getting interference and rubbing before I did that. It wasn't obvious at first but about the 4th time I pulled the gearbox, the evidence marks showed up.

While I'm probably going to go with a Tilton set up over the winter, I needed something in a hurry for a race in two weeks so I ordered an aluminium 1500 Fidenza flywheel from Ted S. I'm going to use it with a 3 rail tranny, MK4, 10 spline 7 1/4, disk. The crankshaft is already drilled out to accept 7/16" bolts.

Stock MK1 Girling master and slave.

Anyone using this setup now and have and tips or warnings? It's so much easier to make changes before it goes together.
