Ralf,

Here is my set up. New cell in a modified original can. 3/8" out of the cell to filter and pump with Push-Lok fittings and hose. 

1/4" on the 'Out' side of the pump to steel tube under the car. Pressure regulator set at 3 PSI in the engine bay just forward of the 2 HS2 carbs.
