[Fot] Triumphs at Lime Rock

Among the TRs at Lime Rock last weekend. The number 7 Spitfire is arguably the most raced Spitfire in the country, having been purchased new in’63 and immediately put on the track by Charlie Rainville, then sold to Dave Belden. Both men are legends in the Northeast’s sports car racing community. These cars represent an interesting study of the evolution of the rules as well. Number 7 
represents late ‘60s level of prep, 114 mid 1970s, 80 mid 1980s and 44: 2019.
