Turns out, Charles borrowed a lot of money, and failed to keep his promise to buy life insurance to cover it. So his heirs are trying to raise as much cash as possible, to pay off the debts without having to liquidate TRF.

They (through lawyers of course) have already said it won’t be enough, but they are hoping to persuade a judge to let them pay the balance from future TRF profits.

BTW, the Coventry Inn is up for sale too.

My guess would be they need sold to settle the estate and or equitably 
distribute the assets if any remain after debts are settled. Not privy to 
any information but that's how estates are settled. Not certain the kids 
have any control or little control at this point.
