 Hi - Assuming you're asking about a front hoop for the roll cage? If so, then yes. It gives you something to tie the side protection to, Most folks with open top cars in vintage put the front hoop down at the level of the "scuttle" as opposed to the "halo" type that most coupes and sedans would use.
