Hi Bill,

 

as racing in Europe is organized in racing series, you meet the same people on every track.

There is not lack of friends.

I prefer to be able to do everything on my own, just in case nobody has time or is willing to help.

 

But sometimes you need some help…..I play in a rock band and I can’t play every instrument….so help is needed for a good sound.

If for no other reason than give the appearance that you have friends.

 

I'll bet people walk by your paddock, and say, "That poor guy.  He has no friends"

 

If you don't need a crew, if nothing else, bring a "Pit Bunny" wearing a halter top.

What for is a crew needed?
I get two race cars to the track on my own, serve them there on my own and race them on my own.

Here and there people help, but all is designed to be done by me without any help.

Unfortunately, It’s more about the 1200 miles each way then the few minutes racing! And my crew wasn’t coming along.
