Hmmm...I’m not real familiar with Lime Rock but the vegetation in the background doesn’t look right.

That looks like white sage...more like you would find in the West...

An associate of my friend happened to see it and said he saw the car in 1978 at Lime Rock Park. He had the attached picture he forwarded to me of the car at Lime Rock. It sparked my interest again so wondered if maybe anyone on the list may recognize the car?
