[Fot] Flat towing a Vitesse

I think the issue is that the layshaft gear cluster may not be turning when being flat towed (with the driveshaft connected) so oil is not being flung upward onto the gearbox’s upper components, some of which will rotate when moving. That’s why I suggested temporarily adding oil, so that the upper components receive some oil.

What you'll see is none of the gears turn, only the syncro hubs will turn since they are locked to the main shaft. I doubt that they will cause enough oil to lube the gears and bushings on the main shaft while it's turning. I think you're taking a chance if towing very far or at high speeds.
