 Hi All - funny side-bar to the all-Triumph parade lap in 2001 or 2002 - A guy stalled going up the hill in the esses and the corner workers were struggling to get the car off track. MJB and I jumped out of my car to help push that car out of harm's way. Our reward? OPEN TRACK for the rest of that parade lap. That was awesome.
I have some fond memories of Mid Ohio from several of those pre and early FOT gatherings.

I was in one of those street cars.  I drove my TR3 to the track for the weekend and did the parade lap.  I was the only street TR3 there with Weber DCOE carbs and Revolution wheels.

BoB Tullius saw me waiting to get on the track and said:  “I like what you have done with your car”.   I’ll never forget that weekend.  Long before I knew any of you guys, except for Ted.
