[Fot] exhaust PCV

The good thing with the PCV is that if anything in the engine goes wrong, the exhaust starts smoking and you get a clear sign to stop the car.

And if the driver is not smart enough to stop, you might be lucky to get a black flag (a European black flag) which ends your race.

Be aware that the some sanctioning bodies do not allow the use of the exhaust to be connected to the crankcase for ventilation purposes.  The SCCA does not allow it.  Joe(B)

While back we were talking about venting motors, and today I saw this. One of our group had described this, and here is a good picture of it in practice. Exhaust in essence siphons / vacuums pressure out of the motor.  I increased the size and number of vent lines to the catch can and solved my problem, but this is an interesting alternative.
