To our Friends of Triumph:

In our midst, we have historians, photographers, racers, rallyists, competition executives, and the best Triumph Wrenches in the world. It’s time to add another one.

Jeremy Kinney has had a lifelong passion for Triumph sports cars. One of his earliest memories is when his parents took him and his brother to the park in the family car, a ‘64 TR4, with their tricycles strapped to the luggage rack. Between his father and his brother, they still have the TR4 and have added a ’65 Spitfire, ’66 TR4A, ’71 GT6, and an ’80 Spitfire.

A trained historian, Jeremy is writing a history of sports cars and American culture. So far, he has published two articles, “Racing on Runways: The Strategic Air Command and Sports Car Racing in the 1950s” and “Sports Car Paradise: Racing in Los Angeles,” and presented his work at the Sorbonne, the International Motor Racing Research Center, the Smithsonian, and various universities. While Triumphs and British sports cars are of particular interest, Jeremy also plans to explore the American, Italian, German, and Japanese dimensions of sports car history in his book.
