[Fot] TR6 Oil Pump Issues

My experience with oil replacement pumps wasn't good. I bought one a few years ago and wasn't impressed with the quality. Also the oil pickup tube on the new one had different threads than the original. Just had a bad feeling about it.
I prefer using an original pump if it's within spes and clearances. Maybe you can find a NOS punp somewhere.
My 2 cent's worth.

  Has anyone had problems with the replacement 'POWERTUNE' brand TR6 Oil Pumps. In particular the casting strength?

  I can't torque down the 3 bolts to the recommended lbs, as the alloy is so soft it simply deforms
