Hi,
I finally got a chance to tear my broken motor down - looks like I spun the #1 rod bearing and then the rod exploded. Gone: block, crank, 1 rod and 1 piston.
I guess it could have been a lot worse.
I'm fixing to install Ol' Smokey so I can use the car 'till I get all the other parts together to build up another "real race" (tm) motor.
Does anyone know if JE pistons will sell quantity 1 piston? This is an .020 over bore.
