[Fot] Herold engine with scroll seal

A fellow sprite racer had a Triumph question for me and I was wondering if
anyone here has done something similar.

"I'm working on an early Herald with 1100 engine . Its got an Archimedes
scroll rear seal but has a rear alloy housing that looks just like std Spit
seal housing . You ever grind scroll off  crank and use latter seal ? "
